After a day in the hotel recovering from the reception and nursing a cold, Ben and I checked out and started our Safari adventure. Our driver arrived a 6am and we got to our first destination, Kabini River Lodge, some time around 12 (after getting lost a few times of course).
We were staying in one of the tents which is just what it sounds like apart from having a bathroom building attached to it. As we settled in, a giant wasp thing (I fear wasps more than anything in the world) started building a nest above the door. Funs!
After a bit of lunch we went on our first safari. We ventured into the park and after a couple minutes we spotted a wild elephant grazing. Soon she was joined by a few of her friends. One got a bit rowdy and tried to charge our jeep a few times. We then saw lots of deer, some monkeys and various other wildlifes. Some rain started which resulted in a bit of a damp tent which did my cold the world of good.
The next day we had another safari that involved a wee boat trip. We saw some tiger footprints which is sadly as close as we got to those lovely beasts. Around midday we set off for our next destination, Kings Sanctuary, which involved more getting lost in the middle of back country India. Many cows on the road!
We got there after about 4 hours and found this place to be quite a bit more fancy (but strangely less expensive than Kabini). Time for our 3rd safari. We didn't see as much wildlife but the safari guide was excellent and filled us with lots of cool informations. There was then an exciting bumpy jeep ride back in the dark with lightning and rain and big bison things.
The next day we had a 4th safari which was also a bit fruitless (this is pretty much the worst time of the year to see animals at safari in India due to the lushness of the forest). A 5 hour journey back to Bangalore followed and then Ben and I popped past Kameel's house to say bye to his folks and then settled in at Inn Bangalore in preparation for the 3am start the next day for the flight home.

Hi Cody, sorry it's taken me so long to reply to you. To be honest I have no idea how to price such things. If you fire me off an email at bradlaylaw at gmail dot com we can discuss further.
