On Saturday, the 4th of August, 2007, my best friend, Ben Lee, married the girl he loves, Jen Bates in the beautiful surroundings of Bamburgh Castle.
It was a lovely day and I'd like to thank Ben again for giving me the honour of being his best man. I didn't drop the rings and the speech I'd been fearing for so long went okay so job done.

Sandy drew the above at the end of the evening and I think it sums up the day nicely - boy loves girl and they get married in a castle and live happily ever after.
